On my old Nuvi 250 it seems to work fine.I couldn't get the.gmap folder to show in Mapsource, so I downloaded your unlocked IMG from here:unlocked it with gimgunlock.exe and used ImgTool to modify all to CP 1252. Then I will keep trying.My device is actually the Nuvi 2599 LMT-D and the map is City Navigator Southern Africa NT 2016.20.I already tried exactely what you said, in the Garmin it still says 'Map can't be unlocked' and 'Map appears to be damaged'. Thank you for your quick response!So do you know if it should be possible in theory?
